Express Entry

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is the Canadian federal government department responsible for immigration to Canada. Express Entry is a new, electronic system developed by CIC to manage applications for permanent residence under the following federal economic immigration programs:

Note that the Express Entry program is not a program of CAPR.  However, certain documentation requirements of the Express Entry program are similar to CAPR requirements.  Wherever possible, CAPR will accept documentation previously submitted to CIC as part of the immigration process.

It is not recommended that you accept a job as a physiotherapist in Canada before receiving your licence to practise.  For more information on Express Entry, please visit: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry.html
